YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg hosting 2nd Annual Family Wellness Fair
On Thursday, May 10th, YMCA-YWCA will be hosting their 2nd Annual Family Wellness Fair from 9:30-11:30 at the Y West Portage Branch. This Fair is targetted at families with children from birth to 6 years of age.

Outdoor Basketball Court - Now complete!
The KWCC Outdoor Basketball Court Project is now complete. Today, the Province's Community Places Grants used KW as the site to announce this year's Community Places Grants. KWCC was successful in their application, and we can begin to plan for the start of construction. Pictured above are: Terry Wolowiec (KWCC President), Kerri Irvin-Ross (Minister of Housing and Community Development), Sharon Blady (MLA for Kirkfield Park) and Jim Rondeau (Minsiter of Healthy Living). We have also secured funding from the WMBA Foundation and the City of Winnipeg (thank you Grant Nordman). More news will be reported here as it happens. Thank you to KW parents and players, as well as the Winnipeg basketball community, for all your support with this project.
